Ummmmmmmm sooooooo
I totally revamped this. I like the execution better now, goes better with the concept. But I'm still not super excited about this.
I focused more on contrast because the other version was blahhh and too much of the same value. I tried also to make the peacock and it's face the main focus. Which I still don't feel is fully successful, but it's better than before. I also changed her face a bit, also to emphasize the contrast, but I was having a lot of trouble with it, still not totally happy
The lines are crooked :-/
ALSO, I saw a thumbnail of this pic, from far away, and she looks pregnant now. AHHH
I tried. I'm done with this lady. I'm admitting defeat. 5.5/10

Got too excited tht I didn't read your description 
I also think it's more successful now. I did like the marble effect in the last one but the contrast in this is captivating. Her face has more form which is something that really adds to the overall effect.
I really enjoy the use of the negative space for the peacock.
